Yesterday was spent working on administrative items for the campaign.  We are still working hard to give every volunteer a viable job in the campaign.  I was the guest host last night on New Hampshire Taxpayer Radio (WLMW) 90.7 FM in bow, NH.  As always these shows are very interesting and informative.  What makes it even more fun is spending the time with good people like Steve and Ed Naile.  We will try and have the MP3 available for everyone to listen to today.

Tonight I will be at a private dinner at CR Sparks in Bedford at the Charles Club.  It is the preliminary kick off event for tomorrow’s all day Grass Roots Communications event which hosted by Fred Tausch & Steward’s.  This event will take place at Southern New Hampshire University, 2500 N. River Rd., Manchester, NH.  It begins at 8:30 AM.

Tomorrow (Sunday) I plan to spend some time with my wife and two beautiful Granddaughters, Teya and Tiana.  I’m looking forward to the brief break in campaigning.

Tuesday, January 26th was a very busy day.  The majority of it was spent finishing up the filming of the firste episode of “the Road to Concord” the Jack Kimball story.  This is a concept created by Mr. Greg Brooks.  He is also the producer of the show.  It will provide direct insight to my journey to the corner office of this state.  Greg will follow me on my “Road to Concord” and film much of the events that I attend as well as some of the private meetings that I may have.  Also included in the show will be man of the street interviews, with various citizens of our state, in an effort to find out what is on their minds and to provide some potential solutions to the problems that concern them.  In addition, the public will be able to listen to my positions on various important topics of the day.  We hope to have the first show up and running in a few days.  From that point forward Greg wants to produce two episodes per week.  This is Greg’s show and is completely separate from my campaign so he is looking for Sponsors in order to fund the show.  This is a great oppportunity for businesses to get some great advertising exposure.  If anyone would like to have Greg drop by and discuss this opportunity, he can be reached at 603-312-0012 or via e-mail at info@theroadtoconcord.com

In addition to finishing the filming of the Road to Concord, we took the time to travel to Pease Tradeport to greet a flight of troops that were headed overseas.  Since Greg had his camera equipment, we decided to film the entire greeting from beginnning to end.  It should make a great documentary in honor of our toops and one of the greatest organizations I have ever been associated with, the Pease Greeters.  After filiming this great event we returned to the work of filming the show.

Yesterday (January 27th) I travelled to Bow to record two radio shows.  I had a great time with host, Joanne Randal of NH Women in Business 107.7 FM.  The show will air this Saturday (January 30th) at 8:00 AM as well as next Saturday at the same time. Please tune in if you have the chance.  After the show I made a short visit to the Goffstown-Weare Town Committee Meeting and arrived home in time to watch the State of the Union Speech by President Obama.  I must say it was one of the worst partisan speeches I have ever heard.  I did not sleep very well last night as it appears that this President has ignored the message sent to him by the people of Massachusetts.  More to come.
